Every child has a story. For 2.7 million American children, that story is filled with the abandonment, loneliness and shame that comes from having a mom or dad in prison. For many, it may also include following their parents down the same destructive road to incarceration.

 

FOCIS has partnered with Prison Fellowship Ministries through their Angel Tree program to reach out to these children and their families.  It starts with a gift, but it leads to so much more.  Through Angel Tree we change a child’s life by giving them a Christmas they’ll never forget.  At Christmas time we deliver a gift for each child on behalf of his or her incarcerated parent.  When we partner with Angel Tree we help prisoners’ children know they are not forgotten.
